I have two new quilts that have recently been scanned and are now up for viewing on the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative website and 11 more that are awaiting scanning and will then be available for sale!
Fifteen thousand quilts have been received by this wonderful and amazing group led by our founder Ami Simms, since she created the organization in 2006. It's hard to believe that this will be AAQI's last year and we only have the rest of this month to get our quilts in, registered by August 1st in order to get them online for display, for sale, and for traveling to the Houston International Quilt Show in November!
And I, for one, am so proud of how hard we have all worked and doubly proud to have now donated 75 quilts to AAQI and have #15,000 be my own personal double milestone quilt!
And my little quilt titled 'The Senility Prayer' is up on site and available for purchase, soon, as well as 11 others, awaiting scanning and awaiting assignment, as well.
And don't forget, I still have these quilts that are online and available for immediate purchase! Check these out, as they are priced for sale and ready to go to new and wonderfully loving homes!
Check them all out here: Michele Bilyeu:AAQI $1,000 Promise Quilts and use the links on that page to look at, read about, or even...hopefully, purchase!..one of my quilts!!!
